The installation of the help points has a number of considerations to meet legislation for the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) which enforces the height and accessibility of help point units.These guidelines are incorporated within network rail Disabled Peoples Protection Policy (DPPP) issue 3 and London Underground Premises Standards. To meet with these standards, units are installed at 1.2 metres and can be either wall or post mounted. |
