ISO 9001:2000 Data Analysis requires that performance is analysed; such things as supplier performance, customer satisfaction and internal performance. Where analysis shows poor performance, this data should be used to set quality objectives, which need to be communicated through the company. Quality objectives are not static and are updated in view of the business climate and other continual improvement activities. Revised quality objectives (either up or down) are always communicated to staff, informing them that the rules have changed. Our achievement (or even partial achievement) of objectives demonstrates continual improvement. There is a clear link between the dynamic aspect of revising the quality policy and the quality objectives and the commitment of the organisation to continual improvement. Examples:-
Management Review Meetings Our objective is to ensure that the Secure Vision - ISO 9001:2000 QMS remains suitable, adequate and effective. Our review assesses opportunities to improve and the need to change the QMS, quality policy and quality objectives. |
