This new riverside development comprising 525,000 square feet of new offices, will be the largest public riverside space in the City, with a number of cafes, bars and restaurants. Watermark Place is the replacement for Mondial House, a former British Telecom Headquarters. Secure Vision have installed containment and cabling to each device over the 12 floors. This includes 34 CCTV cameras, 21 access controlled doors and intruder detection system.
How Watermark Place will look upon project completion in August 2009
The project has been somewhat challenging as there are minimal storage facilities on site and deliveries have to be made very early each day. This problem has been made easier to alleviate, as we have been able to service our engineers with materials and equipment from our office & stores facility in Bermondsey, which is only 3 miles away. Secure Vision's processes for controlling the amount of equipment required, so as to maximise the working hours, have proved to be instrumental, as we have been ahead of program since we started on site in September 2008.

As with all projects, the health & safety involvement has been significant. Whilst we have been on site, Secure Vision has carried out four unannounced safety audits in addition to our standard H&S processes. On each occasion engineers were found to be working safely and in line with method statements. Once again there have been no reportable incidents. |
